The Apostle Paul Project

"The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful people who will be able to teach others also."
2 Timothy 2:2 (NASB)

95% of pastors around the world have had no
formal theological training.

Dallas Theological Seminary has created The Apostle Paul Project (TAPP) to respond to this need. TAPP brings churches and ministries together to provide formal theological education to ministry leaders around the world—and all without removing them from their ministry contexts. Through TAPP, you can recommend and sponsor individuals for training. In partnership with DTS, participants will complete a six-course study program, culminating in a Graduate Certificate of Christian Studies.

The Apostle Paul Project is funded by DTS and the financial support you provide. This frees the participants to study and continue serving in the field, without the burden of tuition and the expenses and disruption of relocation.

What you do:

  • Complete the participant recommendation form
  • Provide funding for books and the discounted tuition
  • Support the participant in their ministry context, providing spiritual and ministerial accountability

What DTS offers:

  • Discounted tuition through The Apostle Paul Project
  • Participant assistance with the registration and enrollment processes
  • Participant orientation to the online program and software
  • A graduate level seminary learning experience
  • Participant support navigating their seminary journey

What the participant receives:

  • The standard DTS admissions process, which includes a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
  • Participation in a challenging and fulfilling online six-course study program
  • Spiritual support and growth
  • Freedom from the financial burden of tuition
  • The ability to remain active in their ministry activities
  • A Graduate Certificate of Christian Studies from DTS
